Mr. Rajbir Singh (Founder)
Mr. Rajbir Singh studied at The Doon School, Dehradun after which he graduated from St. Xaviers College, Mumbai with a Bachelor of Arts degree. After graduation he travelled as apprentice to Germany to work for Kienzle Apparate. After his return from Germany he worked for 14 years in his family business of manufacturing precision instruments in collaboration with Kienzle Apparate.
In 1990 he set up Anandini Financial Services (AFS). At the time when the Indian economy opened to foreign investments and with the introductions of Mutual funds and the opening up of the insurance sector Mr. Singh saw tremendous scope in this space.
In addition to this Mr. Singh has been closely associated with the Chinmaya Mission. He has been the President of the Mumbai Chinmaya Mission. Mr. Singh is also an active Rotarian and is a member of the Rotary Club of Mumbai, Cuffe Parade.
At AFS Mr. Singh is the founding member and is responsible for client interface, asset management and business development.
Mr. Ignatius Gonsalves (Head – Accounting & Finance)
Mr. Ignatius Gonsalves went to school at St. Xaviers High School Mumbai after which he completed his B.Com from St. Andrews College.
Mr Gonsalves joined Anandini Financial Services in 1991 when the organization was in its infancy. He started by setting up the back office which is now both efficient and consistent. Mr. Gonsalves then took charge of the Accounting and Finance division of the organization and has induced professionalism and transparency in the same.
Mr. Gonsalves has inculcated a professional work ethic in the organization and has been a determining factor in the steady growth of AFS.
Mr. Anandbir Singh (Asset Management and Business Development)
Mr. Anandbir Singh did his schooling at The Doon School, Dehradun after which he graduated from The Ohio State University, U.S.A. with a double major in Finance and Economics.
After a short stint with Mckinsey & Company in New York, Mr. Singh decided to move back to India. In 2006 Mr. Singh joined HSBC in the wealth management space and soon after moved on to become an equity analyst with Sykes and Ray Equities (SRE). A few years later he joined Anandini Financial Services.
At AFS Mr. Singh initially worked on the operations and processes and after setting up an efficient system has moved on to client interface, asset management and business development.
Mrs. Mona Chhikara (Head Operations - Delhi)
Mrs. Mona Chhikara completed her schooling from Maharani Gayatri Devi (MGD) School in Jaipur, after which she did her Bachelor of Science from Maharani College, Jaipur and her Masters in English from Sukhadia University.
Mrs. Chhikara has taught in various schools and her last assignment was at Naval Public School. She Joined AFS in 2007, in the Mumbai office where she enthused professionalism in to the back office operations and made the systems efficient.
Mrs. Chhikara currently heads our Delhi operations which were set up in 2010. Not only was she instrumental in the setting up but currently runs an efficient and professional outfit.
Our Staff
Anandini Financial Services has a dedicated and highly motivated staff that caters to the daily needs of our clients. Our staff is both efficient and sincere and is the backbone of this organization. Some of the daily activities our staff carries out are investment processing, software updating, record keeping functions, statement processing, client queries (non investment related), redemption procedure as well as all other miscellaneous functions.
Our back office is available to our clients for their needs and we provide personalized back office assistance which is a rarity amongst financial service providers. Our staff is aware of the needs of each individual client and strictly upholds the professionalism and integrity AFS is synonymous with.
